Fever is not a disease always,in fact in most cases it is just one of the indication that our body is fighting over some foreign body invasion such as viruses, bacteria etc. But at times continuous fever can make you feel weak and sick. So here are few herbal remedies to drop the effect of fever and temperature rise of body. Drinking decoction of ginger-mint reduces the fever intensity. For flu fever,  Add 4gm dried ginger, 1 gm clove powdered in water and boil for 10-12 min and have it along with honey. For malarial fever, have 1tsp of peepal tree root powder along with honey and milk. Having black pepper powder, turmeric along with milk reduces fever intensity. For pneumonia fever, taking fresh mint leaves with honey. For typhoid fever, take 10gm tulsi leaves juices along with black pepper powdered, 1/4 sp...

Chicken chilly Time: 45 min Servings: 6 Ingredients: Salt (as per taste). chilli powder 1 tbsp. Maida( all purpose flour) 100 gm. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp. Onion (diced) 2. Chicken(boneless) 250gm. Capsicum (sliced) 3. Eggs 2. Chopped green chillies. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp. Method: Mix Maida, beaten eggs, ginger garlic paste, salt and chilli powder to make a paste. Add the chicken to the paste. Heat oil, deep fry the chicken and put aside. In a separate pan, heat a little oil and fry the onions, add ginger garlic paste, capsicum , green chillies, turmeric and chilli powder. Fry till the capsicum is little tender then add fried chicken into this and fry for about 2-3 min. Add little tomato sauce and mix it well, garnish with coriander and serve hot. Tip: You can also use schezwan sauce along with tomato sauce for an extra zing.

Cucumber wrap for pigmented skin It will make the heat seep out of your sun burnt body. Things required: 1kg cucumber whizzed in blender with skin. 2 drops lavender oil. 2 drops tea tree oil. 2 drops of chamomile oil. Cotton sheet. Moisturiser. How to do it: Cover your body with the cucumber mixed essential oils. Wrap your body in cotton sheet and relax for 30 minutes. Take a shower and wipe off the water.

These days common house sparrows are rare to see because of the concrete jungle around us.On this day lets pledge to bring them back by planting more trees around us, making provisions such as bird houses for them, making availability of food and water to them so that we could hear that chirpiness again in our lives. Ugadi pachadi(prasad) Ingredients: one peeled and diced raw mango, 1tbsp tamarind paste, 1tsp black pepper, 1-2 tbsp powdered jaggery, 5-10 neem leaves, neem flowers, salt  and 1 1/2 cup  water. Procedure: Mix the diced raw mango in water. Then mix the powered jaggery in it until the jaggery melts completely in the water. Add rest all ingredients and garnish with neem flowers at the end. Tip: It is advisable to use neem leaves decoction instead of just leaves in the prasad but since its too bitter you can just use its leaves directly.

It will make your skin smoother and shinier and removes all tan. Things required:  6 tbsp of neem tulsi powder Aloe Vera gel to make a rich paste 1/ 2 cup cleansing milk Loofah Body moisturiser How to do it? Take a shower with hot water. If your skin is very dry, apply some cleansing milk and then take hot water bath. Wipe your body semi -dry. Apply the paste in circular motion,spending a few moments on every body part. Then scrub the body with loofah, so that every last bit of dead skin is scrubbed off. Take a shower with cold water and rinse the scrub off properly. Now apply moisturiser and enjoy your new skin. This a complete body treatment.It will give a new skin and glow with all the essential nourishment that your skin needs. Things you will need: A massage cream. Exfoliator: For this you simply require crushed sesame seeds, 2tbsp honey and few dried mint leaves. Massage oil: 50 ml olive oil or sesame oil mixed with essential oil(choose according to your mood, Lavender relaxes, Jasmine makes you happy, Rose calms you down, Cinnamon relieves fatigue. Body polish mask: Mix the pulp of a small papaya and a cucumber with one part honey, 4 parts of oatmeal, two parts of yogurt and 1 part orange juice. Body lotion: Mix 6 tbsp rose water, 4 tbsp orange juice and 1 tsp pure glycerin.
